Mechanical or Thermal Destruction of Hard Drives.

Hard drives often contain extremely sensitive information, from confidential business documents to personal files and photos. This protection is especially important when disposing of drives, because specialists can easily extract data from a disk that has been thrown away, for example, in an ordinary waste container.

REISSWOLF guarantees secure, confidential, and irreversible destruction of your hard drives and the information stored on them. To ensure the highest level of data protection, we offer both mechanical and thermal destruction.

We have a certified industrial shredder for the physical destruction of hard drives at our facility in Bozhurishte. For additional security, we also offer a mobile container with an integrated degausser: the device automatically records the serial number of every hard drive placed in the container, degausses it, and generates a report with a photo of the drive, the exact date, time, and location of the degaussing. This means that before the drives leave your office for physical shredding, they no longer contain any information.

SSD and NVMe vs. HDD Drives.

For SSD and NVMe drives, we have a specialized certified shredder for physical destruction at security level E-5 in accordance with the standards of ISO/IEC 21964 (analogous to DIN 66399). Upon request, we also offer serial number recording for SSD and NVMe data carriers before destruction.

For HDD drives, we offer a combination of mechanical destruction with an industrial shredder and degaussing for complete security before the physical shredding of the drive.

Degaussing (Specific to Our Service).

Degaussing is a process in which a hard drive or another magnetic data carrier is placed in a strong magnetic field that erases the magnetically recorded information on it. As a result, the data becomes completely unreadable and unrecoverable, even with professional data recovery equipment.

Degaussing is especially effective for HDD drives, magnetic tapes, and other media that record information magnetically. It is important to note that degaussing is not applicable to SSD, NVMe, and other flash media because they do not store data magnetically. For them, REISSWOLF offers physical destruction using a specialized certified shredder (see above).

At REISSWOLF, degaussing is always combined with physical shredding of the data carrier
- for maximum security. We follow the standards of ISO/IEC 21964 (analogous to DIN 66399).

Full Service - From Pickup to Certificate.

REISSWOLF handles the pickup, transport, and controlled destruction of all your hard drives and data carriers.

For collecting the drives, you receive lockable security containers in various sizes, tailored to your needs. You can choose between immediate filling and pickup of the containers, or longer-term placement of the containers in your office.

For longer-term placement of containers in your office, a rental fee may apply. The specific terms are agreed individually and are not published on the website.

Filled containers are transported to our facility in Bozhurishte, where the contents are destroyed. You receive a certificate for the completed destruction, optionally listing the serial number of each drive.

After destruction, you receive a destruction certificate, optionally listing the serial numbers of the drives.

Delivery: you receive the ordered number and size of containers directly at your office.

Pickup: after filling (immediately upon delivery or within an agreed period), our team collects the full containers and transports them to our facility.

Certificate: you receive a destruction certificate as proof for third parties, optionally listing the serial number.

  1. You submit a request for hard drive destruction via the enquiry form on the website.
  2. A REISSWOLF employee contacts you to clarify the details (pickup time and location, specifics of container transport, etc.).
  3. On the agreed date, you receive the requested number of security containers for collecting your drives.
  4. Depending on the agreement, you fill the container immediately or keep it at your premises for a certain period (up to one week free of charge).
  5. REISSWOLF transports the full container to our facility and performs the destruction.
  6. Together with the invoice, you receive a destruction certificate.

There is no mandatory minimum quantity. We accept orders even for a single drive. For larger quantities, please contact us via the enquiry form for an individual quote.

No. Only one type of material may be collected in each container (for example, only paper or only hard drives). Therefore, in this case, two separate security containers are required (possibly in different sizes).

Yes, if you wish. You can choose between immediate filling (you place the drives in the container immediately upon delivery) or filling on your side (the container remains with you for an agreed period).
